You can see the charts above that show that 90% of children abused have some form of relationship to their abuser with 51% being a relative and 39% a parent. In the other chart it shows that over three quarters of children investigated are 18 years of age and over. In the bar graph to the right it shows the statistics for child abuse victims in 2015 where the majority of victims are younger than one year old then that number is cut in half when you over up to one year of age and the rates of abuse per year of age get smaller the further up you go.
